“Run in such a way to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training…Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. Don't get weary in well doing. I, like you, have fought the battle of the bulge for many years. In 2001, I had an "Aha moment" and decided to take my health seriously. Since then, I've lost
91 lbs (48 on my own & 43 with Weight Watchers). I am also up exercising at 4am. It's the only uninterrupted time I have all day. I saw a man on a talk show who has walked on his treadmill everyday for 3years. So, I challenged my self to do it. This morning, I completed day 121. It becomes addictive. Do I like it? NO! NO!NO!
But, I like the results.
I just want to encourage you to stick with it, especially when it's hard. Just remember when you are on that bike at 3am, that you, Stacey, and Matt are worth it.
God Bless You!
Auntie Slim
