Friday Weigh-In 9/19/08

Still moving in the right direction...

Current Weight: 315
Last Week's Weight: 317
Loss for the Week: 2

Starting Weight: 383 Total Loss: 68


I can only give Praise to God for the loss this week! I have a recurring issue with my foot that flared up over last weekend. It kept me sidelined for most of the week so I really wasn't expecting to post any loss...and yet....

Thanks for the great comments that had ideas for snacks and other de-lish food ideas. Keep 'em coming!

Great job this week Mike! Are you still doing the Fast Track Meals? Do you think that helps you to stay on track more easily? It sure would be helpful to just heat up something that was already prepared!

Good article about Marty and Amy too. I believe that keeping the weight off that I have lost will be a lifelong job! But it is better than being out of control where food is concerned.

Keep on plugging on. Only 12 lbs to your goal!! :)

Mike- As you've said before, the mindset is the key. Being conscious of what you eat, how much, exercising, and knowing that it's all for a better end is what helps. You deserve applause for losing even when have an injured foot! Amazing!
Take a minute and reflect on what you've accomplished. 68 pounds is outstanding. Is that about how much Matt weighs? If so, think of carrying Matt around on your back for years, and now, you've been able to put him down.
What an accomplishment, and a lot less stress on your body, the joints and organs. Way to go, and Keep Going! I have faith in you as do so many others.
BTW- I've marked your blog on the front page of our blog, so others we know will get inspired by you.
