Friday Weigh-In 2/1/08

Another Friday....another weigh-in!

Current Weight: 358
Last Week's Weight: 361
Loss for the Week: 3

Starting Weight: 383 Total Loss: 25


I have to tell you how surprised I am that I dropped 3 pounds. I just wasn't feeling like I had lost anything this week. Praise God! 25 pounds in the first month! Why do I have the feeling that the tough days are ahead......HA! :-)

Way to go Mike!!! Three pounds for the week is great, and 25 pounds in a month is outstanding!

My weigh-in is tomorrow and I'm psyched. My mom, sisters, daughter and I have joined together on this journey so we can encourage one another, but I'm enjoying following your progress as well.

You're right and wrong about the days ahead being tougher. It's true that the pounds come off more quickly in the beginning, but losing those pounds is motivation to stick with it. And as we begin to feel better, the exercising should become easier, too.

Heard you're going to be at the Souper Bowl at OGBC on Sunday, so I'll see you then...well, 25 pounds less of you! :)

Mike- Every pound counts. I'm so proud of you in your quest- and you're an inspiration for everyone! Not just in the health and fitness arena, but for life in general. You're an example that with faith and determination, anyone can achieve anything!
